M20 Limerick to Cork Motorway
We are currently delivering public lighting design services for the 80km M20 motorway project, including nine grade-separated junctions, transport hubs, freight hubs, and over 100km of active travel routes. Our scope includes full lighting design layouts, design reporting, coordination with ESB Networks, and advice on solar-powered lighting and CCTV for hubs. The project requires regular liaison with JV partners and environmental consultants to ensure compliance with evolving design and ecological standards. This major scheme demonstrates our capacity to manage complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects at a national scale.
Bus Connects – City Centre to Liffey Valley
As part of the detailed design phase for this major urban transport corridor, we’ve delivered a full suite of lighting consultancy services — including infrastructure survey, lighting class selection, detailed lighting and electrical design, luminaire specification, and documentation. Our approach balances safety, visual comfort, and energy efficiency across a highly active city route. The project involves close coordination with design teams to integrate lighting seamlessly with new road layouts, cycle lanes, and pedestrian zones.
Cork City Council Rapid Deployment Tender
We provided lighting assessments and upgrade designs for over 6km of roads and footpaths across multiple urban and suburban locations in Cork. The work involved evaluating 55 junctions and four car parks, with a focus on pedestrian safety and compliance with CCC lighting standards. Our responsibilities included designing new lighting layouts where deficiencies were identified, particularly at conflict points, crossings, and underpasses. The project highlighted our ability to rapidly assess and enhance lighting infrastructure across varied urban settings.
Private Housing Schemes
We deliver tailored public lighting solutions for private residential developments, ensuring compliance with planning standards and creating safe, attractive public realms. Our services often include bat-sensitive lighting designs, contributions to EIAR reports, and preparation of Climate Action Energy Plans. With a background in Building Services Engineering, we also advise on utilities such as electrical and telecoms infrastructure. Our holistic approach supports developers in meeting both regulatory and sustainability goals.
